Hi there!

I’m Alana — a registered nurse and first-time author.

You might have spotted me at a local coffee shop, wandering through a park or out on a hiking trail with my two dogs, Hank and Maggie.

Hank and Maggie are the best of friends — bonded for life, but with two very different personalities. Watching them together sometimes feels like I’m eavesdropping on their private conversations. Their friendship, quirks and everyday adventures became the inspiration for my very first children’s book.

With the wonderful support of Little Steps Publishing, I’m so excited to introduce Silly Hank! — a story inspired by the two rascals themselves.

Silly Hank! will be available in stores from 1 October 2026 and is available to pre-order now from all major bookstores.
